We are also currently going through the pre-planning stages to build 22 new homes in Barnard Castle, County Durham.

These would consist of 17 two-bedroom apartments, with communal facilities, and five two-bedroom bungalows.

The apartments would be built on the site of the former police station whilst the bungalows would be next to them on Bede Kirk.

Our proposed development will enhance the area, bringing much-needed housing for people aged 55 and over in the area The homes will be built to a high standard using materials that sympathetically match with the surroundings and maintain the ecological values of the site.

The Barnard Castle scheme will receive funding support from the Homes and Communities Agency.
