And with 30 years housing experience, she’s always guaranteed to be able to help navigate people through to calmer waters.
Hayley joined Railway Housing Association as a Housing Officer in September.
Now learning to row in her spare time, Hayley has responsibility for looking after the interests of people living in around 220 of our homes in Hull and East Riding.
This includes carrying out home visits, signing up new residents and dealing with tenancy management issues.
Hayley has worked in housing for 30 years and after stints with a local authority and 20 years with a housing association, she spent the last 4 years working for a housing cooperative, before joining Railway Housing Association.
She says: “I was keen to work for a smaller organisation which has a good local touch, and Railway Housing Association really fit the bills where this is concerned.
“It makes it easier to get know the residents and staff; everyone is very friendly, and my first impressions are very good indeed.”
Hayley, who is working part-time at Railway Housing Association, is married with two children.
In her spare time, she is a member of a local rowing club in Hull, and enjoys cycling, gardening and running, having ran several marathons and half-marathons.
