New office

Railway Housing Association has left the offices it has occupied for over 40 years as part of the planned redevelopment of the town’s railway station.
We have moved to new premises at West Park in Faverdale, taking up space above the Co-op store in West Park Village, off West Auckland Road.
The move brings us closer to the majority of properties we have in Darlington, including many close to West Auckland Road and West Park itself.
We had occupied our Bank Top House office it occupied for 40 years at Garbutt Square, off Neasham Road, for 40 years. The office has been earmarked for demolition as part of multi-million pound plans to redevelop Darlington Railway Station, with a new car park planned at that location,
Anne Rowlands, Chief Executive of Railway Housing Association, said: “Whilst we are naturally sad to be leaving our home of many years, our new, modern head office is close to the majority of our homes in Darlington, making it easier for those residents to visit if they have any queries relating to their tenancies.
“It’s a new chapter in our long history and we’re delighted to have been able to remain in Darlington.”
